    Key Responsibilities

            • Basic troubleshooting and programming of PLCs, operator interfaces, and industrial networks;

            • Actively participate in the equipment reliability process.
             

            Requirements

            • DEC or AEC in Electrical Engineering Technology – Automation and Control or other relevant training;

              The Overhead Crane Technician ensures the proper functioning of lifting systems to guarantee the safety and efficiency of industrial operations.                     • Experience in the field, on-site, or in industrial settings is an asset.

                    Skills

                    • Proficiency in oral and written French, English is an asset;
                    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (including MS Project);
                    • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license;
                    • Adherence to health and safety standards;
                    • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy, and customer service.

                      Job description

                      Under the supervision of the Abitibi-Temiscamingue team, the estimator is responsible for the bidding process for the manufacturing and installation of industrial components on various worksites.

                      Your main responsibilities

                      • Receive, process, and analyze requests for quotes and tender documents for ongoing projects;
                      • Analyze client needs based on plans, specifications, sketches, or received documentation;
                      • Assess costs for materials, labor, and equipment;
                      • Prepare requests for quotes to various suppliers and subcontractors;
                      • Send quotes to clients and follow up in a timely manner;
                      • Participate in the implementation of projects in workshops or on worksites.

                      Education

                      • DEC, DEP, or AEC in project or construction estimation, or relevant training.

                      Experience

                      • 2 to 3 years in a relevant field (project management, estimation, cost calculations, industrial construction).

                      Skills

                      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite;
                      • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
