What I really like about working with Eltec is the level of service they provide for all aspects of my equipment. When we're working and I need to solve an issue with one of my machines, being able to reach a technician with my first phone call means I don't wait in a cue for answers. Keep in mind my fellers and bunchers are working 24/7. We only turn off our machines to fill them up with fuel or service them, so minimizing downtime is a priority.

I still have my first Eltec and it still runs everyday with just over 55,000 hours on it. I treat my equipment with a high degree of respect and am keep my machines very clean by blowing them out daily and washing them completely down monthly. I've had other brands in the past, but they never performed like my Eltec machines have no matter how well I maintained them.

Being a logger is not an easy living. Summers are hot and winters are cold, the land is not forgiving and the demands I have for my equipment means they either make me money or they make me lose money. I don't lose money with my Eltec equipment and sometimes I just wish my other machines could do the same.
